During the above period £59,962 was approved to be given to help Young People in the area with activities and education.
Organisations
Grants were approved for 8 Organisations representing over 500 young people.
Individual Awards
Hitchin Youth Trust approved grants for 58 young people.
In addition to the above direct financial help, 25 organisations have FREE use of our Youth Rooms, representing around 110 young people each week. The meeting room is also used for training sessions for Leaders, committee meetings for youth organisations and support groups for parents – us of this is also free of charge.
Approximately £25,000 during the year was saved in total by these groups by having free use of our building. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic the saving was estimated at £65,000.
